Volunteers Wanted!
We are currently
seeking to increase our numbers in certain areas, such as Crawley. If you know of anyone who might be interested in training
to become a volunteer mediator please contact the office for further details. We may well be holding a further Training course towards the end of 2008.
Trustees Wanted!
We currently have
8 Trustees, but have room or more enthusiastic people to work with the Management Committee. Further
information and an Application Form can be obtained by contacting the office.
Diary Dates
We
exhibit at Worthing Library for two weeks commencing Sat 16th August 2008.
Our
AGM is set for 2pm on Tuesday 16th September 2008 in the Wedgwood Room at Slaugham Manor, Slaugham nr Handcross, RH17 6AJ. Refreshments
will be provided.

We exhibit at the 'Life is for Living' event at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre on Thursday
18th September 2008.
Membership Any individual
or Company is welcome to become a member of our organisation. Membership Fees currently stand at £15.00 for an individual
and voluntary sector organisations, £50 for small businesses (less than 200 employees) and £100 for larger businesses (over 200 employees). This fee is renewable annually. Members have a right to vote at AGMs.
Community Placement Scheme We are
a supporter of the Sussex Police community placement scheme.We take student officers for 4 day placements at fairly regular
intervals. Community placement is designed to give student officers experience of working with sections
of society that they might not necessarily have encountered in the past. The range of placements students are assigned to
are extremely diverse – and could be anything from working with the travelling community to assisting with drug rehabilitation
programme.
